Dave came aboard at GHFD#1 as a Fire Commissioner in 2013 with being a citizen of the Oakville community since 1979.

He wanted to become a Fire Commissioner to continue service to the district after retiring 30 years of previously serving as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and Assistant Chief.
