GHFD1 Fire Instructor I & II

Course Announcement 

This course prepares fire service personnel to deliver instructions from a prepared lesson plan.

Additional areas of responsibility will include assembling course materials, using instructional aides and evaluation tools, reviewing and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students or groups, and providing a safe learning environment.

 

Course Information

Class will be in September 2026, we will debut a day and time for these classes soon!

Course Application: Email the open enrollment application (will be available soon) and IFSAC Certificate application to admin@ghfd1.org.

 

Location of Training: This course is an in-person class only

Fire Instructor 1 will be a 3-day class with an additional test day

Fire Instructor 2 will be a 2-day class with an additional teset day

 

Pre-Requisites: Must be 18 years of age

Required Reading Material:

- IFSTA Fire and Emergency Service Instructor, 9th Edition

 -NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional QWualifications, 2019 Edition.

**Reading material is not provided by the Fire Training Academy**

 

Cost: $350 per student
